Marie Dunn, M.A. is a marketing and communications professional with more than 28 years of experience working for both large and small organizations. She is currently the Public Information Officer for the City of Perrysburg as well as an Adjunct Professor for Bowling Green State University’s College of Business where she teaches Integrated Marketing and Communications. Ms. Dunn is also a social media marketing consultant and manager for a few small businesses.
Ms. Dunn spent the first 18 years of her career working for WTOL-TV as a producer and executive producer where she earned her first Emmy for best morning newscast. She decided to end her TV career in 2013 and was hired by BGSU’s Office of Marketing and Communications where she spent eight years managing the university’s social media channels.
From BGSU, Ms. Dunn moved on to Cleveland State University where she spent eight months working as the university’s social media manager. A life change sent her back to northwest Ohio where she was hired as the PIO for the City of Perrysburg.
Ms. Dunn earned both of her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from BGSU. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Telecommunications and Master’s degree is in Strategic Communications and Social media.
